Dubai Unveils “Mars Valley”… The World’s First Mars-Themed Entertainment Zone
In a striking event that reinforces Dubai’s position as a city pushing beyond the boundaries of reality toward the future, the emirate officially opened, on December 12, 2025, the world’s first fully Mars-themed entertainment destination: “Mars Valley.”
The opening drew wide media attention and the presence of experts in space, science, and advanced technologies, who described the launch as “a new leap in the world of scientific entertainment.”
Low-gravity simulation wall ..
“Mars Valley” spans a vast area meticulously crafted to replicate the landscape of the Red Planet. Pathways are covered with a soft red mist emulating dust storms, while lighting shifts to simulate the short Martian day and night cycle. Ambient sound effects transport visitors into an otherworldly atmosphere.
The zone also features a low-gravity simulation wall where visitors can experience large, moon-like jumps, in addition to a 3D photo zone that places them on the Martian surface beside exploration rovers.
Mars Dust Restaurant..
The destination offers a variety of unconventional dining experiences, led by the “Mars Dust Restaurant,” inspired by astronaut nutrition and futuristic colony life.
Meanwhile, the “Transparent Dome Café” allows guests to sit inside capsule-style booths resembling space-station sleeping pods, while an immersive dome above showcases an ever-changing Martian sky.
Laser-scan fitting technology..
“Mars Valley” also includes specialty stores offering futuristic spacewear. Visitors can “try on” suits using laser-scan fitting technology before physically wearing them.
Interactive workshops allow children to create mini space helmets or souvenir gloves, complemented by a wide range of accessories inspired by exploration gear.
Martian Dust room ..
At the heart of the attraction lies the Mars Museum, home to immersive experiences such as a safe simulation of a Martian dust storm, and the “From Earth to Mars” gallery showcasing the evolution of humanity’s dream of colonizing the Red Planet.
Visitors can also operate a rover simulator across rugged terrain, and step into the “Colony Room,” a virtual habitat replicating life inside a Martian space station using augmented-reality technology.
"Mars Train"..
To complete the adventure, the zone features the “Mars Train,” taking guests on a scenic journey through landscapes modeled after real Martian terrain.
Children can enroll in the “Astronaut for a Day” program, while a visual theater presents shows about the discovery of water on Mars and future human missions.
Meteor-shaped chocolate ..
Shops offer a range of unique mementos, including 3D-printed models of futuristic Mars settlements, meteor-shaped chocolates, and collectible stamps bearing the “Mars Valley – Dubai” emblem.
Space energy points ..
A dedicated mobile app provides an interactive map and augmented-reality experiences, allowing visitors to take photos with digital Martian elements and earn “space energy points” that can be redeemed for items or activities inside the zone.
Mars Valley..the " scientific entertainment "
According to project officials, “Mars Valley” was designed to merge education with entertainment and bring space science closer to the public in an innovative, engaging way.
With its official opening, the destination is expected to become one of Dubai’s most iconic attractions—offering visitors an experience that travels beyond Earth… without leaving it.
