The gateway is designed to display the names of Egyptian cities and governorates using three-dimensional hologram technology—an innovative step that reflects the country's progress in visual display and advanced technology.
Dynamic Displays Highlight Egypt’s Cities
The new installation offers a unique visual experience for visitors, showcasing names of cities such as Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, and Aswan in dynamic holographic displays that add a modern touch to the urban landscape. Preparations are already underway to expand the experience to governorates like Luxor, Aswan, and Alexandria, as well as other archaeological sites, to present historical landmarks and information in 3D.
Elevating the Tourist Experience
He also noted that the technology will enhance the tourist experience through welcoming displays and visual presentations that introduce visitors to the city and its history—part of the country's broader strategy to promote digital transformation and attract more interactive tourism.
